Inspiration: This work was an evolution for Michelle. She created half of it while she was feeling good and half while she was mired in depression and anxiety. It represents the psychedelic colors she often sees in her “fed up head,” when she is overwhelmed and down. It’s a visual representation of the chaos she sometimes experiences in her life. When Michelle first came to CHOICE she was desperate to express herself through art. Now she attends every art group and has found art to be a very effective outlet for her frustrations and feelings.
