We are proud to announce that in association with Mental Health Awareness Month, musician Andrew Simplicio will be joining us for our Music Socialization Group on May 24th. He will be performing his songs and will lead a group discussion about the importance of mental health and music. This is a wonderful opportunity for people to see a live performance right here at our office, as well as express their views and feelings about how music and the arts has helped them in their own way. Refreshments will be served.
Andrew is a musician from Manhattan, and has been practicing music for years and is very passionate about what he does. His belief is that “music can help us grow creatively to grow emotionally.” To many, music can be the most important outlet in their lives. It’s a common language, one that allows us to express feelings, communicate with others, and reduce feelings of stress. We’re pleased that Andrew has chosen to share his craft with us!
This very special event is open to all CHOICE clients, staff, and friends. Come one, come all!
